Kasilof River Special Use Area

South Side Improvement Project

The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land and Water, Southcentral Regional Land Office is soliciting input from the public, including local, state and federal entities on site concept plans for the Kasilof River Capital Improvement Project on the south side of the river.  The department received capital monies to improve access and sanitation facilities to support the personal use fisheries at the mouth of the Kasilof River. The concept plans are available for review beginning May 18, 2017 through August 31, 2017. The Department has scheduled two public informational meetings during the review period. 

Soldotna – Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 6:30-8:30pm at Joyce K. Carver Memorial Soldotna Public Library in the Community Room.

Anchorage – Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 6:30-8:30pm at the Atwood Building in Conference Room 102.
