NOTICE OF FILING REQUEST

The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that on March 22, 2017, COOK INLET PIPE LINE COMPANY (CIPL) and the STATE of ALASKA (Parties) filed a request, for Commission acceptance of a Fourth Amendment to the Settlement Agreement of Cook Inlet Pipe Line Company and the State of Alaska. Docket No. P-17-003 was opened to address this matter.

The Parties state that the purpose of the Fourth Amendment is to modify the investment standards for the CIPL dismantlement, removal, and restoration fund (DR&R Fund) such that the DR&R Fund account will be invested with the objective of earning a return commensurate with modest risk. The Parties state that the Fourth Amendment will not affect CIPL’s tariff or the current status of the DR&R Fund. The Parties state that the DR&R Fund will continue to be owned by CIPL in its entirety and that the DR&R Fund, both principle and interest, must be used for DR&R of the Cook Inlet Pipeline.
