Notice of Utility Tariff Filing

The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Golden Valley Electric Association, Inc. (GVEA) filed TA296-13 in compliance with 3 AAC 50.790 and Order No. U-17-009(2).  GVEA provides notice, as required by 3 AAC 50.795(a)(5), that it has denied Delta Wind Farm, Inc.’s (DWF) request for interconnection. However, GVEA is filing its interconnection materials with the Commission for its consideration and review in the event DWF’s project is interconnected with the GVEA’s system in the future. 

With TA296-13, GVEA proposes to adopt its Schedule No. QF-2, located at Tariff Sheet Nos. 119 through 120.5 of its currently existing tariff, as its tariff for interconnection, integration, purchases, and sales with DWF.  In accordance with Schedule No. QF-2, GVEA has included a proposed Interconnection Agreement with DWF. Pursuant to 3 AAC 50.765(a), GVEA also identifies and quantifies the costs and benefits associated with integrating DWF into GVEA’s system as part of its avoided-cost analysis.
