Hilcorp Alaska, LLC Milne Point Unit F Pad Expansion

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (ADNR), Division of Oil and Gas (Division), has received a Unit Plan of Operations application (LONS 94-019) from Hilcorp Alaska, LLC (Hilcorp), dated December 27, 2016, to expand the Milne Point Unit (MPU) F Pad on a State of Alaska oil and gas lease. The Division is providing public notice and an opportunity to comment.

         Description:  Hilcorp MPU F Pad Expansion

Hilcorp requests authorization to expand a gravel drilling pad on a State of Alaska oil and gas lease on the North Slope of Alaska. The proposed expansion of F Pad in the MPU will increase the pad footprint by approximately 3.2 acres and require placement of approximately 43,500 cubic yards of gravel. This additional surface area would accommodate eight new wells and allow for year-round rig access.

Please send comments to the Division by email to dog.permitting@alaska.gov, or by regular mail to the Division address above.  All comments must be in writing.  A copy of the final decision will be sent to any person who provides written comments. Under 11 AAC 02.010(d), only persons who comment in writing during the public comment period will be eligible to file an administrative appeal or request reconsideration of the final decision.
