NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING EV-3-226

Notice is hereby given that the Department of Natural Resources, under the authority of AS 40.15.305 shall hold a public hearing. This hearing concerns an additional replat action recently added to the petition EV-3-226 submitted by the DML&W Land Sales Section. Said action proposes to eliminate a portion of the boundary of Government Lot 1, Section 22, Township 4 North, Range 2 West, Copper River Meridian, Alaska. This additional replat action will facilitate the proposed Memory Lane Subdivision. See the attached maps/plats.

This notice identifies an additional replat action not included in the prior public notice and comment period (June 15 through July 15, 2016) regarding other vacation/replat actions within said Memory Lane Subdivision. No comments or objections were received during this prior public notice; therefore, the other vacation/replat actions were approved by the Final Decision EV-3-226 dated August 31, 2016. Since these actions have been approved, only comments for the additional action noted above are being requested by this public notice.

The public hearing is scheduled to be held at the Division of Mining, Land, & Water conference room in Suite 650 of the Atwood Building, 550 W. 7th Ave., Anchorage, Alaska at 11:00AM, March 31, 2017.

Persons attending or not attending the public hearing may submit their comments in writing. Correspondence must be addressed to George Horton, Division of Mining, Land, & Water, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 650, Anchorage, AK 99501, and received by 5 PM, March 29, 2017 to ensure consideration.
