Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Region Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: SULLIVAN, MARK

PROJECT NAME: LAS 27925

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located in Thompson Pass near Worthington Glacier at MP 33 of the Richardson Highway.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Section 13 of Township 008 South, Range 003 West, Copper River Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Use of State land to support a wintersport festival to include snow removal, parking area, Heli-pad, porta-johns, dumpster, and temporary structures.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: January 1, 2017
End: December 31, 2021

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: January 19, 2017

The public is invited to comment on the proposed activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 550 West 7th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue a permit with stipulations for the activity.  The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
