Sealed bids for Juneau Pioneer Home Heating System Upgrades, Project/Contract Number 2501000022, will be received until 2:00 p.m., February 15, 2017 in the main conference room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.
This state funded project will include the re-piping of the existing boiler system to a primary-secondary system. New boiler circulation pumps and variable speed building pumps and appurtenances will be included as detailed on plans, as well as all associated electrical work. The existing hot water generator core is to be replaced with a double wall tube bundle. Existing building controls are to be upgraded to include DDC controls for the new equipment and piping being installed under this project.
A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for January 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Juneau Pioneer home located at 4675 Glacier Highway Juneau, Alaska. Meet in the foyer near the main entry off of the main parking area at the south side of the building.
The Engineer's Estimate is between $200,000.00 and $500,000.00. The Project substantial completion date will be 180 Calendar days from Notice to Proceed.

Bidding documents may also be purchased for $50.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
