The Alaska Judicial Council will hold a public hearing to receive comments about the applicants for the Alaska Court of Appeals at 12:15 p.m., on Monday, December 19, 2016, at the Supreme Court Courtroom, Boney Courthouse, 303 K Street, Anchorage. 

 The Council will meet in Anchorage on December 18-19, 2016 to interview and nominate the most qualified applicants for a judicial vacancy on the Alaska Court of Appeals, and to discuss administrative matters. The vacancy is created by the retirement of Judge Douglas H. Kossler, who was appointed to the bench by Governor Sean Parnell in 2013.
