Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that ACS Long Distance, LLC (ACS-LD) filed TA94-476, requesting Commission approval of a wholesale interstate and intrastate special contract with MTA Communications, LLC d/b/a MTA Long Distance (MTA-LD).
The special contract filed in TA94-476 was executed on August 26, 2016, with a commitment period of three years, and will renew for successive one year terms unless and until terminated.
The special contract sets the following intrastate and interstate usage charges: $0.01 per minute for Tier 1 destinations, $0.055 per minute for Tier 2 destinations, $0.22 per minute for Tier 3 destinations, and $0.01 per minute for interstate calls. The following restrictions apply: MTA-LD is responsible for any originating access charges, and the rates shall be billed in six second increments.
Finally, ACS-LD requested a waiver of the cost of service support required by 3 AAC 52.375(b) for special contracts for wholesale service.
