Lease or Purchase
Mt. McKinley Meat & Sausage
Slaughter and Processing Facility

Subject to AS 03.10.050 and 11 AAC 39.700, the Board of Agriculture and Conservation (“BAC”) by and through the Division of Agriculture is soliciting proposals for the lease or purchase of the Agricultural Revolving Loan Fund (“ARLF”) asset known as the Mt. McKinley Meat and Sausage slaughter and processing facility located in Palmer, Alaska.
Proposals must be received at the issuing office on or before 4:00 PM, November 28th, 2016.
A late proposal will not be accepted.
The property to be leased and operated consists of both real and personal property described as:

Real Property: Mt. McKinley Meat and Sausage: Lot H-2C-2, Palmer Industrial Park according to Plat 84-2, Palmer Recording District, Third Judicial District, Alaska.

Personal Property: Equipment. An inventory of the equipment is set out in Attachment A to the Request for Proposals.
If offering to purchase, the offer must be equal to or greater than the minimum acceptable price of $700,000.00.
If offering to lease, the offeror’s proposal must include complete proposed lease terms. The BAC will consider the lease proposal with the best terms.
Preference will be given to offerors who plan to continue operating the property as a meat processing and slaughter facility.
A successful bidder will be required to submit a proposal containing the information set out in ARLF RFP #16-02 which can be found at http://dnr.alaska.gov/ag/ag_ARLFAssetDisposals.htm.
The RFP can also be picked up at the Division of Agriculture Offices in Fairbanks or Palmer.
The real property, improvements, and equipment are being offered “AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO IMPLIED OR EXPRESSED WARRANTY OF CONDITION WHATSOEVER.”
