Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach), certificated to provide service as an intrastate interexchange carrier, filed tariff revision TA10-571, requesting Commission approval of a special wholesale intrastate contract with the Alaska Wireless Network, LLC (AWN, formerly Alaska Digitel, LLC).
The special contract filed in TA10-571 was executed with AWN on September 25, 2006, for service over a sixty-month term, with AWN having the option to extend the agreement for four additional five-year terms. Service under the special contract will continue thereafter on a month-to-month basis.
The special contract requires Chugach to provide Digital Signal (DS-1) communications service from Chugach’s Headquarter to the Sunrise communications facility at Mile 45 on the Sterling Highway; and attendant space and power requirements for the Sunrise communications facility. The special contract contains the following monthly charges for telecommunications service:

Finally, Chugach requested a waiver of the cost of service support required by 3 AAC 52.375(b) for intrastate wholesale.
