The Alaska Royalty Oil and Gas Development Advisory Board will hold a public hearing at 10 am on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 550 W. 7th Ave, Ste 1100, Anchorage, AK under 11 AAC 26.050, 11 AAC 26.051 and AS 38.06.040(a)(2).
The Board will consider a proposal by the commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources to sell North Slope royalty oil to Petro Star Inc. under two separate contracts: one for the duration of one year, and another for a term of four years. The Board will determine whether this proposed royalty oil sale meets the criteria set out in AS 38.05.183 and AS 38.06.070. The Board will also prepare its recommendation to the legislature regarding the four-year contract at this hearing.
The public is invited to attend and provide comments at the hearing or in writing. Written comments should be provided for the Board’s consideration by 4:30 pm on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the address listed below.
