NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

AMATS: C Street / Ocean Dock Road Access Ramps Reconnaissance Study
RFP No. 25172002

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional services to perform a Reconnaissance Study that will look at the redesign and reconstruction of the C Street Bridge/Port Exit (Ocean Dock Road) access ramps in both directions. Provide recommendations to improve the intersection of the ramps and the Ocean Dock Road, address the hydrology issues in the areas, and address the pedestrian/cyclist/transit users in the area, and offer recommendations relating to safety, maintenance, and freight mobility improvements.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately October 2016 to December 2017.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $150,000 to $200,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available July 13, 2016 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:00 p.m. Persons residing outside the general vicinity may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by phoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than August 3, 2016, 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
