The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has made a preliminary decision to approve UniSea, Inc.’s (UniSea’s) application for Air Quality Control Minor Permit AQ0088MSS04 for their G1 Boiler Fuel Reallocation project.

Location: 88 Salmon Way, Dutch Harbor, AK 99692
Activity: UniSea’s application is classified under 18 AAC 50.508(6) for revising the terms and conditions of a Title I permit.
Emissions: This project will have an inconsequential effect on the oxides of nitrogen (NOx), coarse particulate matter (PM-10), and sulfur dioxide (SO2) potential emissions.
ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC drafted a preliminary permit decision for this project under AS 46.14 and 18 AAC 50.
