NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Term Agreement – Southcoast Region Construction Administration
RFP Number 02563024
The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional construction administration services for projects throughout the Southcoast Region.
The services shall include but not be limited to project engineering, office engineering, onsite inspection, materials sampling and testing, surveying, environmental inspection, project closeout paperwork and reporting, coordination and documentation to ensure the construction contract work is accomplished in conformance with the contract plans and specifications and FHWA/FAA requirements, if applicable.
Separate agreements will be awarded for each project assignment with individual NTP’s and a not to exceed fee up to $1,000,000 per firm per project. The maximum dollar limit per firm under this agreement is $3,000,000. A maximum of five agreements may be awarded depending upon responsiveness and scoring.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2018 with possible 1 year extension to 2019. Cost of these professional services is expected to be Greater than $1,000,000.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available May 5, 2016 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK 99801-7999. Persons residing outside the City & Borough of Juneau may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 465-4488. Walk-in and telephone service is available during the hours of 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received no later than May 27, 2016, 4:00 PM prevailing time. Please be advised that none of the courier services (Fed-EX, UPS, etc.) provide overnight service to or from Juneau. Please allow at least 2 to 3 business days for receipt of expedited packages.
Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTD number: (800) 770-8973, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.

If you download a Request for Proposal (over $100,000) from this page, you must register with the respective regional plans room to be placed on the planholders list for that project and to receive subsequent addenda. Every effort will be made by the Department to insure that Contractors receive all addenda when issued. Addenda may be issued by any reasonable method such as mail, telefacsimile, express delivery service, and electronic posting to this website. It is the Offeror’s responsibility to insure that he has received all addenda affecting the RFP. No protest will be allowed based on the offeror’s allegation that he did not receive all the addenda for a RFP.
