Mt. McKinley Meat and Sausage Plant

The Agricultural Revolving Loan Fund currently owns Mt. McKinley Meat and Sausage (MMM&S), a slaughter and meat processing facility, located in Palmer, Alaska. The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Agriculture, Board of Agriculture and Conservation (BAC) are seeking public comment on the disposal or lease of MMM&S. Oral comments will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Division of Agriculture conference room, 1800 Glenn Highway, Suite 12, Palmer, Alaska. The hearing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and may be extended to accommodate members of the public who have indicated they wish to make comments during this time but did not have an opportunity to testify. The purpose of the meeting is to review loan applications, asset property, proposed loan policies, delinquencies and other agenda items.
