MARIJUANA ESTABLISHMENT APPLICATION TRAINING

FEBRUARY 17 & 18, 2016, ANCHORAGE,ALASKA

The Alcohol & Marijuana Control Office (AMCO) will be conducting two training sessions covering the Marijuana Establishment License application process. Each training session will cover the same topics. Please attend only one of these sessions if you are interested in applying for a marijuana establishment license.

Each training session will be held at the Snowden Training Center, located at 820 West 4^th Avenue in Anchorage Alaska 99501. The training session will begin at 9:00AM and last one hour, with time for questions after. We encourage everyone attending to please read the marijuana regulations and visit our frequently asked questions on our website www.commerce.alaska.gov/web/amco before attending the meeting. Though we will demonstrate the applications process and review approved supplemental forms, development of the online application will not be finalized before February 24,2 016. The online process will be open for applications on that date, at which time supplemental forms will also be available.

The training for both days is identical. The training sessions for February 17^th  and 18^th  are designed for attendance in person. AMCO will film the second training session on the 18^th and make a video of the session available on our website by February 24, 2016. Neither training session can be attended by phone. It is anticipated that the training session will be repeated on future dates to be determined.
