The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has determined that the Alaska Demolition, LLC (AK Demo) request for modification to the existing Palmer AK Demo Construction and Demolition (C&D) Monofill permit, is complete. ADEC is proposing to reissue Permit # SWZA004-19 to AK Demo to include the lateral expansion of the existing landfill to the property directly south of the existing cell.

Owner/Operator: Alaska DeMolition, LLC

LOCATION:  The monofill is located immediately southeast of the Alaska State Fairgrounds and is approximately 1.5 miles south of downtown Palmer, Alaska, within the North ½ of the Southeast ¼, of Section 8,Township 17 North, Range 2 East, Seward Meridian.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  AK Demo is applying to modify the operating permit for the Palmer AK Demo C&D Monofill, which is an Inert Waste Monofill that accepts C&D debris and other inert waste. The modification includes a lateral expansion of the facility to include a waste cell directly south of the existing monofill cell.
