Notice of Application for Approval of Agreement
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that on November 4, 2015, Kenai Beluga Pipeline LLC (KBPL) filed an application for approval of a Facilities Connection and Reimbursement Agreement (Agreement). The Agreement is related to the maintenance, operation, and eventual removal of the existing connection facilities, located near the City of Kenai, between the Kenai Beluga Pipeline System and AIX Energy, LLC (AIX)’s lateral pipeline. The Agreement does not require the construction of new or additional connection facilities. AIX acquired the lateral pipeline from Buccaneer Alaska, LLC (Buccaneer) when AIX acquired Buccaneer’s interest in the Kenai Loop Gas Field. Docket No. P-15-015 was opened to address this matter.
The Kenai Beluga Pipeline System is a natural gas pipeline regulated by the Commission. The Agreement between KBPL and AIX will allow AIX to deliver its natural gas production into the KBPL System for transportation.
No motions for waiver or petitions for confidentiality were filed with this application. The Commission has not assessed the completeness of this application. The Commission may determine whether the application is complete by November 27, 2015.
