Repsol E&P USA Inc. 2015-2016 Winter Exploration Program

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (ADNR), Division of Oil and Gas (Division), has received a Unit Plan of Operations application (LONS 15-005) from Repsol E&P USA Inc. (Repsol), dated September 25, 2015, to conduct exploration drilling at two locations within the Pikka Unit in the Colville River Delta area. The Division is providing public notice and an opportunity to comment under AS 38.05.035.

Description:   Repsol 2015-2016 Winter Exploration Program

Repsol requests authorization to conduct exploration drilling at two locations in the Colville River Delta area. One exploration drill site will be located on an island within the Colville River Delta and the other will be located on uplands approximately 0.6 miles east of the delta. Temporary ice roads will be used to access the drill sites and drilling will occur on temporary ice pads, each with a surface area of approximately 5.7 acres.

Please send comments to the Division by email to dog.permitting@alaska.gov, or by regular mail to the Division address above.  All comments must be in writing.  A copy of the final decision will be sent to any person who provides written comments. An eligible person affected by this decision may appeal or request the commissioner’s reconsideration in accordance with

11 AAC 02.

All comments must be received by the Comment Deadline: 4:30 pm, Alaska Standard Time, November 10, 2015.
