INVITATION TO BID
Sealed bids for DMVA Mandregan Renovation, Project Number 80052, will be received until 2:00 p.m., November 13, 2015 in the main conference room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.
This federally funded project will renovate the Mandregan Building (Building 60820) at the Alaska Military Youth Academy’s Camp Carroll, located on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The Basic Bid includes demolition and renovation of the existing two (2) story barracks/trainingfacility to comply with current life/safety code, HVAC system, and a building addition. The work, including demolition, shall involve Architectural, Structural, Hazardous Waste abatement, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical systems, and any related work as described in the Contract Documents.
There are six (6) Additive Alternates described as follows: Additive Alternate 1 includes remodeling of the existing latrines and laundry areas; Additive Alternate 2 includes power upgrades for the classrooms; Additive Alternate 3includes office remodel; Additive Alternate 4 includes exterior insulation; Additive Alternate 5 includes window replacement; and Additive Alternate 6 includes elevator cab installation.
A site visit will be conducted on September 23, 2015at 2:00 p.m. at Building 60820 located on JBER, Fort Richardson (approximately6 miles northeast of Anchorage). Interested bidders need to submit their nameto Kristine Colborn at Kristine.colborn@alaska.gov on or before September 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
The Engineer's Estimate is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000 Basic Bid. The Project substantial completion date will be August 23, 2016.

Your fax must include your company name,contact name, mailing address, phone and fax number, and whether your company is registering as a General Contractor, Subcontractor or Supplier. You may not change or alter the downloaded bidding forms in any way. Electronic bids will not be accepted.
