Background

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC), Spill Prevention and Response Division determined that it would not address the merits of Flint Hill’s request to change the performance standard for the on-site cleanup plan at this time. Flint Hill disagrees with this decision and requests an adjudicatory hearing.

As provided in 18 AAC 15.220 any person who wishes to file a response to the request for adjudicatory hearing must do so by serving a response on the Office of the Commissioner, Department ofEnvironmental Conservation by September 16, 2015. Written responses may be served by mail addressed to Gary Mendivil, Hearing Liaison, Office of the Commissioner, Department of Environmental Conservation,Post Office Box 111800, Juneau, AK 99811-1800, by facsimile to (907) 465-5070,or by e-mail to Gary.Mendivil@alaska.gov

The Commissioner or his designee will issue a decision on the request for adjudicatory hearing pursuant to 18 AAC 15.220. The State of Alaska, Department of Environmental Conservation complies with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
