Request for Grant Proposals:  Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program, CFDA 16.738

The Division of Alaska State Troopers seeks proposals from eligible applicants for the State Fiscal Year 2016 (SFY16) Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program, CFDA 16.738. The Department of Public Safety has identified the priority for JAG program funding for enforcement that increase efforts toward the interdiction and trafficking of illegal alcohol and drugs through participation in street level drug enforcement and/or multi-jurisdictional drug task force programs.

Eligible applicants include local units of government. Priority consideration will be given to current participants.

The total amount of JAG federal funds available to the State for local units of government is $214,757. All awards are subject to availability of appropriated funds and to any modifications or additional requirements that may be imposed by law.
