INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Anvil Mountain Correctional Center Utilidor Upgrades, Project Number 83062C, will be received until 2:00p.m., June 10, 2015 in the main conference room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This State funded project will construct a new exterior utilidor access vault,interior utilidor access vault with a security door, water supply reconnection,fencing reconfiguration, site grading and all miscellaneous work not included in Additive Alternate 1.

Additive Alternate 1 will demolish and replace piping as shown on Sheets M1.1, M1.2, M1.3and patch and repair spray foam insulation as shown in detail 1 of Sheet S1.1.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $200,000 and $500,000 (Basic Bid).  The Project substantial completion date willbe October 15, 2015 for the Basic Bid, and September 15, 2016 for Additive Alternate 1.

Plans,Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge on the DOT/PF website: http://www.dot.state.ak.us/apps/contracts?ACTION=bidcal#43515.  From that website, your company must self-register by clicking on the Plan Holders link, or register with the Central Region Plans Room by faxing your request to (907) 269-0425 or calling(907) 269-0408 or your bid may not be accepted. Your fax must include your company name, contact name, mailing address, phone and fax number, and whether your company is registering as a General Contractor, Subcontractor or Supplier. You may not change or alter the downloaded bidding forms in anyway.  Electronic bids will not be accepted. 

Biddingdocuments may also be purchased for $50.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room,4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
