NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING EV-3-224
Notice is hereby given that the Department of Natural Resources, under the authority of AS 40.15.305 shall hold a public hearing. The hearing concerns a petition submitted by Alaska Village Electric Cooperative, Inc. to replat Lot 1 and the Remainder Parcel of U.S. Survey No. 2024 per the plat accepted May 16, 2008 and the parcels purportedly created by the Quitclaim Deeds recorded February 14, 2014 as Document 2014-000214-0 and April 21, 2014 as Document 2014-000443-0 Bethel Recording District.
This replat, located in Goodnews Bay, Alaska within Section 21, Township 12 South, Range 73 West, Seward Meridian will facilitate the platting of the proposed AVEC Goodnews Bay Site which in turn will relocate the current boundaries to encompass existing AVEC Power Plant buildings.
The public hearing is scheduled to be held in Anchorage at the Division of Mining, Land, & Water conference room in Suite 650 of the Atwood Building, 550 W. 7th Ave., Anchorage, Alaska at 11:00AM, July 1, 2015.
Persons attending or not attending the public hearing may submit their comments in writing. Correspondence must be addressed to George Horton, Division of Mining, Land, & Water, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 650, Anchorage, AK 99501, and received by 5 PM, June 29, 2015 to ensure consideration.
