On February 4, 2015, the Board of Examiners in Optometry adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 48 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with temporary military courtesy licenses for spouses of active duty members of the armed forces of the United States, and continuing education courses accepted by the board.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on March 31, 2015, and will go into effect on April 30, 2015. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.
The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 214, July 2015 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
