Surplus Lines Placement List
Notice is given that, under authority vested by AS 21.06.180, the Division of Insurance will hold a public hearing to solicit public testimony regarding the types of insurance for which insureds generally are unable to secure coverage from admitted insurers so that the director may issue an order under 3 AAC 25.040, which will update the surplus lines placement list. Notice is given that any interested person may present oral or written statements or comments relevant to the proposed action at a hearing to be held in the 15th floor conference room, Suite 1560, Atwood Building, 550 W 7th Ave, Anchorage, Alaska at 10:00 a.m., Alaska Daylight Time (ADT), on Friday, March 20, 2015. The hearing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and may be extended to accommodate those present before 11:00 a.m. who do not have an opportunity to testify. If you are unable to attend the hearing in person and would like to participate by teleconference, please call 1-800-315-6338 and enter the access code 42070 followed by the # (pound sign).
Additionally, any interested person may present written comments relevant to the proposed action by writing to the Division of Insurance; Attention: Marty Hester, deputy director; P.O. Box 110805; Juneau, AK 99811-0805, or via email to martin.hester@alaska.gov so that they are received no later than 4:30 p.m. ADT, March 18, 2015.
