ALASKA COMMISSION ON POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION

The Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) will hold its winter quarterly meeting at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014.  Scheduled time for oral testimony will be announced prior to the meeting. 

Included on the Commission meeting agenda are the following items: Approval of regulations for public comment relating to the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement for institutions seeking to offer distance education programs across state borders; approval of 2013-2014 AlaskaAdvantage Education Grant workforce shortage areas; Alaska Student Loan Forgiveness study findings; and a presentation on the findings of the Alaska Education Leadership and Alaska Student Loan Surveys relative to state education loan policies and processes.    

The meeting will originate from the Commission’s Success Center located in The Dimond Center, 800 E.
