Hospital Discharge Data Reporting

NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Department of Health and Social Services proposes regulations on reporting of hospital and ambulatory surgical center discharge data.

   

The Department of Health and Social Services proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 7, Chapters 12, of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with hospital discharge data reporting:

7 AAC 12.185, Reporting of hospital and ambulatory surgical center discharge data, is a proposed new section that establishes reporting requirements for hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers relating to discharge data. 

You may comment on the proposed regulation changes, including the potential costs to private persons of complying with the proposed changes, by submitting written comments to Jill Lewis, Division of Public Health, PO Box 110616, Juneau, AK 99811-0616; E-mail: jill.lewis@alaska.gov.

The comments must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on January 15, 2014.
