NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE
REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE
Brief Description:
The Department of Revenue, Child Support Services Division, proposes to change regulations to: incorporate amendments to Civil Rule 90.3.
Informative Summary:
The Department of Revenue proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 15 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with child support awards, including the following:
15 AAC 125.010 to be amended to reference Supreme Court Orders 1782 and 1800 amending Alaska Rule of Civil Procedure 90.3, effective October 15th, 2013.
15 AAC 125.075 (a)(3) to be amended to change the income cap from $105,000 to $120,000.
15 AAC 125.085 to be amended to add the phrases “both parents,” “and accessible to the children” in reference to required health care.
15 AAC 125.427(c) to be amended to add “health care coverage is accessible to the children,” as one of the possible mistakes of fact.
15 AAC 125.427(f) to be amended to add “and accessible to the children,” as one of the considerations in allowing alternative coverage.
15 AAC 125.428(b) to be amended to add the phrase “and accessible to the children.”
15 AAC 125.428(c) to be amended the phrase “coverage is accessible to the children,” as one of the possible reasons to contest an administrative review decision.
15 AAC 125.429 to be amended to add “and accessible to the children.”
15 AAC 125.432(a) to be amended to change “available” to “accessible.”
You may comment on the proposed regulation changes, including the potential costs to private persons of complying with the proposed changes, by submitting written comments to the Department of Revenue, Child Support Services Division at Post Office Box 101365, Anchorage, AK 99510-1365 or by email to dor.cssd.regulations@alaska.gov. The comments must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on August 12, 2013. Written comments received are public records and are subject to public inspection.
