Hilcorp Alaska, LLC Amendment for LO/CI 02-030
Susan Dionne Pad
The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (ADNR), Division of Oil and Gas (DOG), has received an amendment application to the existing Plan of Operations from Hilcorp Alaska, LLC (Hilcorp) for the Susan Dionne (SD) Pad, which is located within the Ninilchik Unit. DOG is providing public notice and an opportunity to comment under AS 38.05.035.
Project Description: Hilcorp proposes to drill a 12,000-foot exploratory oil well (SD-8) on the existing SD Pad. An additional oil well, SD-9, may also be drilled on the pad if SD-8 is successful. All proposed work will take place on the existing SD gravel pad; however, it may be necessary to add a minimal amount of gravel at the corners of the pad access road to move the rig onto the pad. Drilling activities are scheduled to start early June 2013, or as soon as the drill rig can be mobilized to the site.
