Land Use Permit application received from Pebble Limited Partnership for a meteorlogical tower near Amakdedori Creek

Pebble Limited Partnership

Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Region Land Office has received an
application for the following:

APPLICANT: Pebble Limited Partnership

PROJECT NAME: LAS 28864

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located near Amakdedori Creek.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Section 22 of Township 010 South, Range 029 West, of the Seward Meridian.

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Installation of one meteorlogical tower station. The
station will consist of one small, fully enclosed shelter (approximately 6'x8')
and one 15 meter tall tower. The shelter will house meteorological instruments,
data logger, and communication equipment.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: April 1, 2013
End: March 31, 2018

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: March 21, 2013

The public is invited to comment on the proposed activity. To ensure
consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining,
Land and Water at the above address on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted
above. Questions concerning this proposal or requests to view the full

After review and adjudication, we may issue a permit with stipulations for the
activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication
process.
