RFP No. 368-4-1-021 Industrial Rds Program-Resource Trans. Analsys-Iniskin Bay to Pebble Copper

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Headquarters,
Planning Section (DEPARTMENT) is soliciting professional planning, preliminary
engineering, and environmental services to evaluate potential transportation
corridors between Iniskin Bay, Alaska, and Pebble Copper, Alaska. Pebble
Copper is located at N59.89833 W155.29556 (NAD 83).

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated
period for performance of the Agreement is approximately January 2004 through
December 2005. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the
range of $250,000 and $500,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available December 3, 2003, and
may be downloaded from our web site at: http://www.dot.state.ak.us/ under
'World of DOT; Dept. Business; Procurement; Professional Services, Construction
Related; RFPs over $100,000'. Or the RFP may be obtained in person from the
DOT&PF plans room at the Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger
Road, Fairbanks, Alaska. Persons residing outside the City of Fairbanks may
obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 451-2247 or TDD
(907) 451-2363 (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment). There is no
charge for the RFP package.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.
Submittals must be received at the address indicated on the RFP no later than
DECEMBER 24, 2003, 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.

Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need
auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal
should contact the TTD number: (907) 451-2363, no later than one week prior to
the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
