REVIEW NOTICE

 

Subject to Alaska Statute 38.05.850, the Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW), Southeast Regional Office (SERO) is considering applications to grant a public easement for project ADL 108264 and an Interagency Land Management Agreement (ILMA) for project ADL 108284 to the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities Southeast Region (DOT&PF), in perpetuity. The requested public easement and ILMA would authorize the use of approximately 0.11 acres of State land at milepost 5 and 2.48 acres of State land at milepost 12.  Both projects would be used for stream mitigation purposes associated with the Haines Highway project being implemented by DOT&PF.  Application materials and figures showing the location of ADL 108264 and ADL 108284 are enclosed with this notice.

 
Members of the public and interested parties are invited to review the application materials attached, or by mail upon request, and comment. The DMLW must receive written comments no later than 5:00 PM on November 21, 2014. In order to be given full consideration, all comments should clearly explain the facts on which they are based and how they pertain to the proposed action.
