Notice of Adopted Changes to the Regulations of the State Board of Veterinary Examiners.

On February 1, 2024, the State Board of Veterinary Examiners adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 68 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations dealing with recent statutory changes to AS 08.98 under HB56 - Chapter 14, SLA 2023 updating education and examination requirements and removing references to the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed, and filed by the Lieutenant Governor (or designee) on March 19, 2024, and will go into effect on April 18, 2024. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 250, July 2024 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
