Merger of Moda Assurance Company into Moda Health Plan, Inc.
Notice is given that, under the authority vested by AS 21.06.180 and AS 21.69.590, the Division of Insurance will hold a public hearing considering the merger of Moda Assurance Company into Moda Health Plan, Inc.
Notice is given that any interested person may present oral or written statements or arguments relevant to the proposed action at a hearing to be held at William Egan Room, Room 106, 1st floor at the Atwood Building, 550 West Seventh Avenue, Anchorage 99501 on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. The hearing will be held from 2:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. and may be extended to accommodate those present before 3:00p.m. who do not have an opportunity to testify. To access via telephone, please call 1-800-315-6338 and enter the access code 33009 followed by the # sign (pound sign).
Additionally, any interested person may present written statements or arguments relevant to the proposed action by writing to the Division of Insurance; Attention: David Phifer; 550 West Seventh Avenue, Suite 1560, Anchorage, AK 99501-3567, or via email to david.phifer@alaska.gov to be received no later than 4:00p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2023.
