Brief Description: The Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 05 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with updating approved schools of acupuncture and streamlining processes, including the following:
- 12 AAC 05.100. Application requirements; 12 AAC 05.220. Approved continuing competency activities, proposed to streamline processes and clean up regulatory language.
- 12 AAC 05.110. Approved school of acupuncture, is proposed to update regulations to allow for foreign-trained applicants to qualify for an Acupuncturist license if the educational institution has been determined equivalent by the NCCAOM.

The comments must be received not later than 4:30 p.m. on December 11, 2023. Comments received after this deadline will not be considered by the Department.
