SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES ON THE ALASKA UNIVERSAL SERVICE FUND IN THE REGULATIONS OF THE REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (Commission) proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 3 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with the Alaska Universal Service Fund (AUSF), including the following: 3 AAC 53.300 – 53.399 is proposed to be repealed. The intended effect of this repeal is to remove inapplicable language from the Alaska Administrative Code.
This is a supplemental notice adding to the notice of proposed changes issued on April 5, 2023, concerning the above-proposed revisions contained in the Department of Law File No. 2023200129. The Commission has released this supplemental notice to advise the public that the Commission has reopened the comment period and will accept additional written comment on the proposed revisions from May 12, 2023, to May 22, 2023.
You may comment on the proposed regulation changes, including the potential costs to private persons of complying with the proposed changes, by submitting written comments to the Regulatory Commission of Alaska at 701 West 8th Avenue, Suite 300, Anchorage, Alaska 99501. Additionally, the Commission will accept comments via the Commission’s website at:

After the public comment period ends, the Regulatory Commission of Alaska will either adopt the proposed regulation changes or other provisions dealing with the same subject, without further notice, or decide to take no action. The language of the final regulation may be different from that of the proposed regulation. You should comment during the time allowed if your interests could be affected.
