NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

AMATS: Mountain Air Drive Extension Design Support Services
RFP No. 25212045

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional services in support of the Contracting Agency’s preliminary design for the Mountain Air Drive Extension project. Anticipated activities for the initial contract include Environmental Services, Hydrologic/Hydraulic Design, Traffic Engineering/Analysis, and Public Involvement, Design Study Report, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Plans, Specifications and Engineer’s Estimate, Assistance during Bidding and Construction, and Project Close-out.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately May 2021 to May 2024.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available February 23, 2021 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:00 p.m. Persons residing outside the general vicinity may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than March 16, 2021, prior to 4:00pm prevailing time.
