INVITATION TO BID
Sealed bids for Palmer Correctional Center – Deferred Maintenance Upgrades, Project Number 25RS206607-B, will be received before 2:00 p.m., August 14, 2020 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.
This state funded project will include completion of approximately 30 deferred maintenance tasks necessary to re-open the Palmer Correctional Center for inmate occupancy. Deferred maintenance tasks include roofing, electrical, mechanical and plumbing, haz-mat abatement, civil work, and architectural work.
A non-mandatory work site visit has been scheduled during the advertising period on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Palmer Correctional Center. In an effort to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, bidders shall bring and wear face coverings and maintain social distancing. All attendees shall present a valid identification for sign-in and enter through the visitor center at the front gate.
The Engineer's Estimate is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. The Project substantial completion date will be May 31, 2021.
