Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: Hatcher Pass Mountain Guides
PROJECT NAME: LAS 32622
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: The portion of Hatchers Pass that reaches as far north as Purches Creek, as far west as Lucky Shot Mine, as far south as the confluence of Homestake Creek and Willow Creek, and as far east as Independence Mine State Historical Park.

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant is requesting a land use permit for cross country travel, associated with snowcat and heli ski operations within Hatchers Pass. Beginning at the parking lot on Fishhook-Willow Road, approximately one mile south of the intersection of West Willow Fishhook Road and Fishhook-Willow Road, following Fishhook-Willow Road and West Willow Fishhook Road into the Craigie Creek Unit, Willow Mountain Unit, Independence Unit, and Archangel Unit.
PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: April 1, 2019
End: March 31, 2024
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: May 2, 2019
The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
