NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for comprehensive design and design-related services to support the Contracting Agency in responding to the November 2018 earthquake.  Under this Term Agreement, the Contractor shall provide services for the area defined as Zone 1 as well as overall Program Management services of the entire DOT&PF Earthquake Response.  Zone 1 is defined as the earthquake affected area outside of the limits of the Anchorage Maintenance Station. It is anticipated that the contract will include work at 30 or more locations across Central Region in the area identified as Zone 1.  The Contracting Agency anticipates additional earthquake related sites being identified during inspection activities and spring thaw, and reserves the right to add additional sites within the contract area as they are identified. 

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the initial Agreement is approximately March 2019 to March 2022.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $1,000,000 or greater.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available January 28, 2019 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK before 4:00 p.m. Persons residing outside the Anchorage area may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than February 19, 2019, prevailing time.

Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTD number: (907) 269-0473, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
