Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: Harold Touchstone

PROJECT NAME: Public Access Easement ADL 233096

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: The proposed easement is located between the Oilwell Road and ASLS 77-099 Tract C, near the community of Talkeetna.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The proposed easement is located on state-owned, DMLW-managed uplands within the E ½ of Section 30, Township 25 North, Range 6 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska.

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The applicant has requested a public access easement for a preexisting gravel road in order to access ASLS 77-99 Tract C. The proposed easement dimensions are approximately 400 feet in length, 25 feet in width, and 0.23 acres in area. In addition, the easement may be extended along the northern boundary of ASLS 77-99 Tract C to ADL 40952, a 10-foot-wide easement along Moose Creek. The easement, if approved, may differ from that described herein. If approved, the easement will be held by the state on behalf of the public.

REQUESTED TERM: If authorized, the easement will be issued for an indefinite term.

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: January 10, 2019

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land, and Water at 550 West 7th Avenue, Suite 900C Anchorage, Alaska 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 pm on the date noted above.
