IMPORTANT NOTICE - KNIK RIVER BRIDGE SITE

With a recent accretion survey (Attachment A) and the subsequent determination, the upland owners of adjacent private property now hold legal title of lands previously used as State Waters. These lands should no longer be considered State property, or within the Knik River Public Use Area. All requests dealing with these lands should go to the owner of legal record.

Knik River access is still available via the DOT right away next to the bridge (Attachment B), or by the Eastern access across Bodenberg Creek.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to contact the Southcentral Regional Land Office at (907) 269-8503 or via email at: KRPUA@alaska.gov.
