NOTICE OF RIGHT-OF-WAY APPLICATIONS

HARVEST ALASKA, LLC

CROSS INLET PIPELINE EXTENSION PROJECT

ADL 232962 TYONEK

ADL 232963 CIGGS

The Commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), pursuant to Alaska Statute (AS) 38.35.070, hereby gives notice that Harvest Alaska, LLC has submitted two right-of-way lease applications in accordance with the Alaska Right-of-Way Leasing Act (AS 38.35.050) for pipelines associated with the Cross Inlet Pipeline Extension Project (CIPEP).

These applications propose to:

  1. Convert one of the 10” CIGGS natural gas pipelines into an oil line and connect it to CIPL so that oil from the west side of Cook Inlet can be transported to the east side without the need for the Drift River terminal. The right-of-way (ROW) lease would authorize the converted CIGGS line which is approx. 21 miles long. No temporary construction ROW is needed; operation ROW would be 50 feet.

  2. Build a new 10” pipeline from the Tyonek platform to the Beluga Pipeline at Ladd Landing. Natural gas that was being transported by the CIGGS line plus the natural gas retrieved at the platform will be transported to the west side of the inlet via the new segment. The ROW lease would authorize approximately 5.5 miles for the sub-sea portion of the pipeline. Construction ROW would be 500 feet; operation ROW would be 50 feet.

The applications, and other supporting documents are available at the Division of Oil and Gas newsroom website: http://dog.dnr.alaska.gov/Home/Newsroom. The public may obtain hard copies of documents, at cost, from the State Pipeline Coordinator’s Section (SPCS) upon request (see address below).

Copies of the application are available at the Kenai, Soldotna, Homer, Anchor Point, and Ninilchik libraries.
