Dear concerned citizen,

The Division of Forestry invites your comment on seven Forest Land Use Plans prepared under AS 38.05.035(e) and AS 38.05.112 on DOF’s intent to proceed with these timber sales.  DOF would pursue commercial sawtimber/fuelwood contracts for the proposed harvest areas.  The comment period ends 4:30 p.m. on April 27, 2017.  You can send comments to me at kevin.meany@alaska.gov.  Copies can be made available in our office or electronic copies of the Forest Land Use Plans are available on our website:
