PUBLIC NOTICE
REGARDING DISPOSAL OF AN INTEREST IN MUNICIPAL TRUST LAND IN KOLIGANEK, ALASKA BY THE MUNICIPAL LANDS TRUSTEE
On October 30, 2014 the New Koliganek Village Council, the recognized appropriate village entity for the village of Koliganek, adopted a resolution requesting the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, acting as trustee for a future city, in accordance with AS 44.33.755(b), enter into a lease with the New Koliganek Village Council for the operation and maintenance of a Community Landfill on the following described parcel of land:
The surface estate of that certain real property located within Section 29, Township 5 South, Range 47 West, Seward Meridian, being situated in Koliganek, more particularly described as Tract 77 of the Koliganek Natives, Ltd. Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) Section 14(c) survey plat recorded as Plat 2004-6 of the Bristol Bay Recording District, containing 10 acres.
In accordance with 3 AAC 190.430 and .440 the Municipal Land Trust Officer, acting on behalf of the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, approves
the disposal of a lease for the parcel described above to the New Koliganek Village Council.
This notice is being posted and published in accordance with the requirements of 3 AAC 190.420 and .910. This approval becomes final upon the expiration of thirty (30) days following the publication of
this notice, or after thirty (30) days of continuous posting of this notice, whichever is later.
