The Alaska Department of Transportation andPublic Facilities (DOT&PF), in coordination with the Federal HighwayAdministration (FHWA), is performing a Reconnaissance Engineering Study of nineintersections in Anchorage.  These nineintersections are being analyzed based on safety or operational concerns.  The nine intersections are: Abbott Rd. atBirch Rd.; Old Seward Hwy. at Seward Hwy. southbound off-ramp; Elmore Rd. at 84^thAve.; Elmore Rd. at Coventry Dr.; Elmore Rd. at Huffman Rd.; Huffman Rd. atCange St./Pintail St.; Rabbit Creek Rd. at Golden View Dr.; DeArmoun Rd. at OldSeward Hwy.; and DeArmoun Rd. at Elmore Rd. 

You are invited to attend a Public Open Houseon December 4, 2014 to learn more about the recommendations and to provide yourfeedback to the project team. The open house will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm atthe Alaska Zoo Gateway Hall located at 4731 O’Malley Rd, Anchorage, AK.
