Notice of Utility Tariff Filing

 

The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Alaska Pacific Environmental Services Juneau, LLC d/b/a Pacific Waste (APES-Juneau) filed tariff revision TA25-653, seeking a permanent rate increase of 27.69 percent, applied to all tariff rates, and an interim rate increase of 3.70 percent across-the-board increase, except for Roll Cart Rental rates on Tariff Sheet No. 45.3. In addition, APES-Juneau proposes to discontinue pick up service provided more than one time per week for residential roll cart service and implement a delivery/retrieval fee for company owned roll carts. Finally, APES-Juneau proposes a new .25 cubic yard container service for commercial customers. A sample of the current and proposed rates are as follows:

* The Blue Zone is that area of downtown Juneau that begins at the intersection of Ross Way and Egan Drive and continues southeast to and including Martin Way, bounded by the coastline on the southwest and southern borders and the mountains and Basin Road on the northern and eastern borders.  

In conjunction with TA25-653, APES-Juneau filed a request for waiver of the requirements of 3 AAC 48.275(a)(8), 3 AAC 48.275(a)(11), and 3 AAC 48.275(a)(12), requiring pro forma schedules of provision for income taxes, cash working capital, and cost of capital.
