PUBLIC NOTICE
REGARDING DISPOSAL OF AN INTEREST IN MUNICIPAL TRUST LAND IN
ILIAMNA, ALASKA BY THE MUNICIPAL LANDS TRUSTEE
On April 17, 2014 staff from the Municipal Lands Trustee Program held a meeting in Iliamna in which Iliamna residents adopted a meeting resolution requesting the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, acting as trustee for a future city in accordance with AS 44.33.755(b), enter into a lease with the Iliamna Village Council for the operation and maintenance of a Sanitary Landfill and Sewage Lagoon on the following described parcel of land:
The surface estate of that certain real property located in Section 35, Township 4 South, Range 33 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska, being situated in the vicinity of the Native village of Iliamna more particularly identified as Tract D of the ANCSA 14(c) plat for Iliamna recorded as Plat 99-1 on January 13, 1999 in the Iliamna Recording District, containing 10 acres more or less.
In accordance with 3 AAC 190.430 and .440 the Municipal Land Trust Officer, acting on behalf of the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, approves the disposal of a lease for the parcel described above to the Iliamna Village Council.
This notice is being posted and published in accordance with the requirements of 3 AAC 190.420 and .910. This approval becomes final upon the expiration of thirty (30) days following the publication of this notice, or after thirty (30) days of continuous posting of this notice, whichever is later.
